This particular web site is dedicated to MDA EarthSat's suite of global historical weather data products.  These products are based upon weather observations sourced from various governments around the world and then processed to provide a value-added service.  These services range from the basic organization and management of data to proprietary methodologies for cleaning data (removing and replacing errors and filling missing observations).

This web site has been designed to provide two valuable services:

2. Provide decision support by linking the GIS capable advanced map search with data inventories
